Dating and cancer
Let's face it, cancer is almost epidemic in our society, and lesbians are arguably at greater risk since we sometimes shy away from health care until it's unavoidable. Once cancer touches your life, how do you deal with dating? Do you give it up? Do you pursue it even more while you have the chance? If you're in treatment, how do you tell a prospective date? How does that affect potential relationships? How do you deal with treatment side effects such as hair loss or fatigue? If you're dating a woman going through treatment, how do you deal with the situation? Do you hold back emotionally due to the uncertain future? Or do you decide to maintain the relationship despite it all? How about dating when both women are in treatment? These are questions you won't find at the Mautner Project but they are growing to affect our lives more each day.

First Date? Who Pays?
The Lesbian Life Guide at About.com seems non-commital. Maybe you should pay, maybe you should go dutch, maybe you should alternate. GirlDates thinks this is a no-brainer. You ask, you pay. Maybe you can't afford much, but if you enjoy each others' company, you prolly won't be too concerned with the vittles.
